Sacred War
The Sacred War is a RvR event that starts at a set schedule for a max duration of 27 minutes. During the Sacred War, you fight the opposite faction you chose at the start of the game to win by completing the map objective which may vary from each map.
To see the Sacred War schedule you can click the circle button on the minimap.
When that same icon is flashing red with swords like this it means a Sacred War is currently in progress.
By clicking join in an active war, you will be prompted with the choice to join; clicking yes will enter the war, while no will put you on a time-out before you can join again.
The first thing you should do, either before the Sacred War starts or right after you join it, is press the "U" key to open the party search window. Click the Search button and try to find a party for the Sacred War, as without a party you are at a large disadvantage to the opposite side which may have one.
Now that you are at war, here are the basics. The red circles are where the Titan and Olympus bases are generally on a given map, with Olympus being blue while Titan is red. If you look at the bottom right, you will see Relic Spawn with a timer highlighted. When this timer expires, a relic will spawn in the green circled area.
The main objective of most wars is to go to this area and take the relic by clicking it which will take you 5 seconds to pick up.
Once you have gathered the relic, it is time for you to take it back to your base and enshrine it by clicking on the shrine belonging to your faction. If the other faction has enshrined their relic, you simply steal it by clicking it and waiting 5 seconds to steal it back.
Once you enshrine, a countdown may begin if all relics have been enshrined on your side or the opposite side. From here you have to defend the relics from capture until the countdown reaches 0, in which case your side wins; if any relic is captured, the countdown will end and the regular match time will appear again unless the war timer is already under 5 minutes in which case it will still be under countdown. Regardless of who has the relics, the side with the most wins, such as in our example, you can see Olympus has 1 relic while Titan has 0. If the countdown were to reach 0, then Olympus would win the match. If both sides had 0 relics or the same amount, then it is a draw.
Depending on how well you did in the Sacred War, you will get God Points to rank your character up as well as to spend, as well as give you a 30-minute buff depending on if you win or lose. Each relic you enshrine also gives your side a PvE buff which is unique to the relic you enshrined.
